Salvation

The day of my salvation was the greatest day of my life. Yes, better than the day I got married. Yes, better than the days my children were born.  For you see, without salvation, I could never be the wife and mother that God has planned for me.

I encourage each of you who visit here, whether regulary or only one in a while, to turn your life over to Jesus.  It will be the greatest thing you ever do.

How you ask?  Well, it is as easy as ABC:

A - Admit to God that you are a sinner. Repent, turning away from your sin and try not to do it again. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

B - Believe that Jesus is the son of God, who died to pay for your sin, was raised from the dead and is alive today. For God so loved the world, He gave his one and only son, so that whoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

C - Confess (tell others about) your faith in Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Confess with your mouth “Jesus is Savior and Lord.” Romans 10:9

If you feel that God is telling you it is time to become a Christian, pray a prayer like this:

Dear God,
I know that I have sinned and that my sin separates me from you. I am sorry for my sin. Please forgive me. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me so my sin can be forgiven. I believe Jesus rose from the dead and is alive today. I ask Jesus to come into my life to be my Savior and Lord. I will obey You and live for You the rest of my life. Thank you for loving me and saving me from my sin.
Amen.

This may sound silly, but I suggest getting a LifeWay VBS Bible.  I use these with my 3rd and 4th graders, because it highlights what scripture says about the "ABC's."

Once you open your heart to Jesus, I encourage you not to stop there. Find a church to attend regularly. Get baptized to show others your love for Jesus. Go to Sunday School.  Worship and Praise Him for all He has done and will do.

If something here on this blog has helped you on your journey to live your life for God, please let me know!  I would love to share your testimony.
